Francis Nezianya began serving as a Zachary Council Member in 2006, and was elected without opposition in October 2010. Francis represents Council District One. His party affiliation is Independent. He is a local business owner and operator of Subway Restaurant. Francis is a graduate of Southern University, and holds his degree in Accounting. Francis served as past President of the Zachary Chamber of Commerce in 2005-2006 and past President of the Zachary Rotary Club in 2006-2007. He currently serves as Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 6200. He is a member of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Zachary and is married to Lettimarie Nezianya.
Republican, Brandon Noel was elected to the Zachary City Council in November 2010 and assumed office on January 10, 2011, representing Council District 2. Brandon is a graduate of LSU with a bachelor’s degree in Business. He is currently employed as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker One. He is married to Megan Noel, a third grade teacher at Zachary Elementary. They have one daughter, Grace. Council District 2 areas include: Marita Terrace, Zachary Terrace, Sandy Creek, Windwood, Fennwood Links, The Settlement, Old East Place, Waterford Place, Meadow Lake, portions of Fennwood, portions of East Meadow, portions of Myrtle Hill, portions of Zachary Hills Estates, portions of Oak Shadows, and portions of Rollins Road, Pope Road, Hickman Lane, Shaffett Lane, and Highway 64.

Republican, John Coghlan was elected to this first term as Zachary City Council in 2006 and re-elected without opposition on October 2, 2010, representing Council District 3. He is a 1974 Graduate of Istrouma High School. John is currently employed at Exxon-Mobil. Council District 3 areas include: Pointe South, Lake Pointe, Ravenwood, Copper Mill, Rosewood, Live Oak Trace, Zachary Parkside and portions of East Meadow and areas # to 40th Street.
Republican, Dan Wallis is a long-time resident of Zachary and is presently serving his 8th term as a Zachary City Councilman. He was a local business owner and operator of a grocery store, located on LA 19 for more than 30 years and currently operates ABC Self Storage and Notary Public Service. Dan is a licensed Louisiana Real Estate Broker, retired. He is a member of the Zachary Chamber of Commerce, Zachary High Century Club, Zachary Lions Club, AARP-AAll, United Commercial Travelers and many amateur radio and civic clubs. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is also a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Dan Wallis is married to Georgiann “Jan” Wallis.
Democrat, Tommy Womack is a life-long resident of Zachary, since 1967. He was elected to the Zachary City Council in November of 2010, representing Council District 5. He is a 1981 graduate of Zachary High School. Tommy is currently employed at Georgia-Pacific Paper Mill. He has previously served as Ward Constable for the Justice of the Peace Court in Ward 2, District 2, Volunteer Reserve Officer for the Zachary Police Department in the early 80’s and the EBR Sheriff’s Office Reserve program for ten years. Tommy is married to Diane Womack. Council District 5 areas include: Little Farms, MacHost Road, Old Slaughter Road and parts of Lower Zachary and Hwy. 64.
