The Zachary Food Pantry hands out meals, sundries and paper products to qualified families every Tuesday, from 9 - 11am at 5746 Rollins Road. If anyone is hungry or a family is in need, call the Zachary Community Center at 654-3164, since the Zachary Food Pantry does not have a phone on location, or call the Zachary Police Department at 654-9393 or the Zachary Fire Department, 654-0026 or the Chamber of Commerce at 654-6777. Food barrells are located at Bank of Zachary on Main Street and Winn-Dixie on Hwy. 19.

Zachary Council on Aging serves the elderly in East Baton Rouge Parish, to enrich and enhance their quality of life through advocacy efforts, creative planning and coordination and provision of needed services, and to make it possible for them to live independent lives as long as possible.
