City of Zachary Observes Thanksgiving Holiday 2022

Thanksgiving Day is an official City of Zachary holiday and will be celebrated on Thursday, November 24, 2022.  All City of Zachary offices will be closed this day. 

Solid waste collection (garbage and recycling) in the City of Zachary will not be made on Thursday, November 24 under their contract with Waste Management, within the City of Zachary.  Garbage and recycling normally collected on Thursday will be collected on the following day, Friday, November 25.  If your normal collection day is Friday, garbage and recycling pick-up will be collected the next day on Saturday, November 26.

Waste Depot will not pick-up bulky items on Tuesday, November 22 as scheduled due to the holiday. All routes will return as normal next week.
