City of Zachary Unveils Wall Mural

On Friday, November 27 at 5 p.m., the City of Zachary will unveil a wall mural on the East side of the City Annex Building, located at 4650 Main Street.

“The new artwork celebrates the heritage and history of Zachary and we are thrilled to showcase this mural on our city building,” says Mayor David Amrhein. Local artist, Merrianne Hornsby, who is well-known for her whimsical style of artwork, was commissioned by the City of Zachary to portray the historical scene.

We feel that this colorful addition to Downtown Zachary will attract new local businesses, help bring customers to pre-existing locations and boost the economy.
