The Zachary Community Farmer’s Market is an open-air market, comprised of a group of area farmers selling fresh produce each Saturday in Downtown Zachary behind Zachary City Hall at the HugYourPeople Park at Lee Street @ Virginia Street, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Over 60 local vendors including craftspeople make a visit to the market on Saturdays to sell handmade crafts,  showcasing local artists and craftsmanship and fresh produce. On the second Saturday of each month, the Zachary Cars and Coffee Club offer an open car show displaying vintage cars, trucks, and motorcycles. If you are interested in showing your classic car, this group encourages you to come out and showcase.

 

 

 

 


2024 Zachary Youth Softball Registration is OPEN.

Age groups: 8U (ages 6-8); 10U (ages 9-10); 12U (ages 11-12) To register, click here

Registration fee is $75.

Join us for a volunteer opportunity during Love The Boot Week, organized by Keep Louisiana Beautiful. The City of Zachary is proud to host several cleanup events during this week.

Event Details:
 • Date: Wednesday, April 24
 • Time: 10:00 a.m.
 • Meeting Point: Parking lot of Zachary Walmart
 • Duration: Approximately 45 minutes

Volunteers will meet at the designated location, where the City of Zachary information table will be set up. Refreshments and water will be provided by Zachary Walmart.

 • Time: 10:00 a.m.
 • Meeting Point: CC’s Coffee House, 19560 Old Scenic Hwy.
 • Duration: Approximately 45 minutes

Volunteers will meet at the designated location, where the City of Zachary information table will be set up. Refreshments will be provided.
Trash pickers, garbage bags, and vests will be provided for volunteers.
Remember, every effort counts in making Louisiana a cleaner and greener place to live. Your involvement, regardless of its size, is highly valued.

Nature Night Hike and Campfire – BREC’s Zachary Community Park – Friday, May 10, 2024 at 7 p.m.

Ever wonder what goes on in Conservation Areas after the sun goes down? Join BREC’s Conservation staff and learn about local nighttime ecology and nocturnal animals while you creep through the woods on a blacked-out night hike. And no Night Hike would we complete without time around the campfire and a s’more! Enjoy this great way to get the family out after the daytime heat.

Preregistration is required and spaces are limited. Children must be registered and accompanied by a registered adult.
