City of Zachary Hosts Fish Fry Teacher Appreciation Week at Zachary Community Schools

Each year at the end of the school year, the City of Zachary’s "Fish Fry Team" — including Mayor David McDavid, our Police and Fire Departments, and city employees — comes together to show appreciation for our amazing teachers in the Zachary Community School District.

Thanks to the generous donation from Thornton, Musso and Bellemin, Inc., who provided 450 pounds of catfish this year, the team served up 713 plates of delicious fried fish as a heartfelt thank you to our educators.

"We’re proud to honor the dedication and hard work of our teachers. Thank you for everything you do for our students and our community," says Mayor David McDavid.
