With the November 3, 2026 Election approaching, Zachary residents who are not currently registered to vote or who need to update their voter registration are encouraged to do so before the upcoming deadlines.

According to the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office, the deadline to register to vote in person or by mail is Monday, October 5, while the deadline to register or update voter information online through GeauxVote is Tuesday, October 13.

When registering in person, voters should bring appropriate identification and documentation showing their current residence. Voters can also register or update their information online through the Louisiana Secretary of State’s GeauxVote system.

The November 3 election includes federal, judicial and local offices, as well as propositions and constitutional amendments. Depending on a voter's residential address and voting districts, the ballot may include:

• 19th Judicial District Court Judge
• District Attorney – 19th Judicial District
• Zachary City Council
• Zachary Community School Board
• Constitutional Amendments and Local Propositions

A voter’s individual ballot may vary based on residential address, City Council district, School Board district and other applicable voting districts.
