Brandie Triche Appointed Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
Updated 1/24/2024

Mayor David McDavid is pleased to announce the appointment of Brandie Triche as the city’s new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The City Council confirmed the mayor's appointment at the Zachary City Council Meeting on January 23, 2024. Appointing an employee from within the City Government with a thorough knowledge of daily operations and a profound understanding of fiscal management, as evidenced by the successful execution of previous grant projects, played an essential role in the decision for her appointment.

Brandie Triche previously served as the Assistant Park Director and City Grants Manager. She will continue her work with grants for the City of Zachary and utilize that knowledge in her new position as Chief Administrative Officer. She has completed numerous professional development courses through FEMA, the University of South Carolina Grant program, and Grants USA. Brandie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University.

She serves as the Treasurer of the Zachary Charity League, is a member of the Zachary Rotary Club, and leads the Zachary Community Helpers. She serves on the Zachary United Methodist Church’s Nominations and Leadership Development Committee. She is a 2021 graduate of the Leadership North Program through the Zachary Chamber of Commerce.

Brandie Triche will oversee the day-to-day departmental operations and individual employees as the Chief Administrative Officer. “I am confident that Brandie will play a pivotal role in steering the City of Zachary toward a prosperous and sustainable future,” says Mayor David McDavid.
