City of Zachary Honors Teachers and Staff During Teacher Appreciation Week

The Teacher Appreciation Week celebration began today at Rollins Place Elementary. It will continue throughout the week as the City of Zachary fish fry crews travel from school to school in the Zachary Community School District, serving teachers and support staff fried fish dinners prepared by the City of Zachary Administration, the Zachary Police Department, and the Fire Department.

The sponsors of this year's fish fry were Professional Engineering Consultants and Thornton, Musso & Bellemin Company. "We would like to thank our generous sponsors for making it possible to reward our Zachary Community School District staff," says Mayor McDavid.

"It is a small token of our appreciation to those who tremendously impact students' lives in our community," said Mayor David McDavid.
