City of Zachary #WearRedDay for American Heart Association Month

The City of Zachary employees “Rocked Red” today in support of American Heart Month. In addition, Liz Sagley, Wellness Consultant Nurse at Lane Regional Medical Center provided blood pressure screenings and informational health awareness pamphlets for our staff.

Special thank you to Ty Stephens, for donating our heart-healthy lunch. According to the American Heart Association, high blood pressure is a major and modifiable risk factor for heart disease and stroke. Did you know that 80% of heart disease is preventable? Know your risk for heart disease.
