Whimsical Alley Chosen as the Winner of the Christmas Storefront Decoration Contest

Eighteen local businesses participated in the Christmas Storefront Decorating Contest this year. While each entry did a spectacular job of displaying Christmas Spirit, the Beautification Board chose Whimsical Alley as this year’s overall winner. Whimsical Alley’s display is light-hearted, festive, and full of holiday fun, complete with hot pink lights on trees, luminated deer, sparking unicorns and icicles. Whimsical Alley showcases an overall magical wonderland in the Zachary Historical District. The Zachary Fire Department and The Bank of Zachary won honorable mentions for their festive Christmas displays. We were glad to open this fun contest for the local businesses of the community and want to say thank you to those of you that contributed to filling Zachary with Christmas spirit. Participating businesses included: All Pro Tint & Graphics, BoxDrop Mattress, Z Market, City Hall Complex, Bank of Zachary, Magnolia Fields, Whimsical Alley, Zachary Fire Department, Unique Creation Gift Boutique, Cadeaux Market Boutique, Busy B’s Children’s Boutique, Elle Boutique, Gordon McKernan Injury Attorney’s, Kim’s Nails, Burk Heroman Florist, Zachary Police Department, Louisiana Dental Center. We encourage everyone to drive by all the displays in the evenings and to stop by the businesses in the daytime to check out the services they offer.
